Ukrainian soldiers have installed their country’s flag on Zmiinyi Island. After being released from captivity, defenders of Mariupol are undergoing rehabilitation. Trains continue to run along the only railway evacuation route from the east of Slobozhanshchyna.

July 8–9th in Ukraine

As a result of enemy shelling, crop fields and forests are burning in the south of Ukraine. As part of the work trip to Podniprovia and Zaporizhzhia, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the frontline positions of Ukrainian defenders. Emergency rescuers from Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania signed a Memorandum on Mutual Understanding and Joint Actions for protecting the population and territories during external armed aggression.

July 10-11th in Ukraine

More than 30 civilians were killed as a result of the R*ssian Iskander missile attack on a five-storey building in the city of Chasiv Yar. The R*ssian army is shelling populated areas of Slobozhanshchyna, including Kharkiv, every day. Despite the war, miners in eastern Ukraine continue to work.
