Ukraïner Production films the stories of people who are building their country while preserving their identity and cultural heritage for posterity despite the war.

Documentaries by Ukraïner

Since its founding in 2016, Ukraïner has become known for its expeditions that have explored different parts of Ukraine, discovering its cultural and geographical diversity. Our films, created prior to 2022, highlighted the beauty of nature, unique traditions and stories of the extraordinary people who make Ukraine. We sought to show the real country, revealing its potential and identity for both Ukrainians and the world.

With the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, the focus of our films shifted. We were among the first to travel to the de-occupied territories to document war crimes, the destruction of towns and villages, and the courageous resistance of Ukrainians. Films have become not only a means of recording historical events, but also a tool to support people affected by the occupation and spread the truth about the war. We continue to talk about Ukrainian identity, but now in the context of the struggle for survival and preservation of our culture.
